Privacy Policy

What data we store

• Your username and password (the password is stored encrypted, never in plain text).
• The photos and details of the properties you upload (price, location, features, your contact info as an agent).
• The content we generate from that: descriptions, images, PDFs, and videos.
• If you connect Instagram or Pinterest, we store the connection ID/token needed to publish on your behalf — never your password for those networks.
• Your account settings (brand color, chosen Pinterest board, etc.).

What it's used for

Mainly to generate your posts' content and publish it to the social networks you connect yourself, always with your explicit authorization (via OAuth sign-in for each network). We never sell your data or share it with third parties unrelated to the app's operation.

If you checked the corresponding box when signing up (or later, from My Account), we also use your email to send you Publica Smart news and promotions. It's optional, doesn't affect normal use of the app, and you can turn it on or off anytime from My Account, or unsubscribe from the link in any such email you receive.

Who we share it with

• OpenAI: to generate the descriptions, analyze your photos, and reply in the support chat (if you use it).
• Upload Post: to publish to Instagram on your behalf.
• Pinterest: to publish directly to your account, if you connect it.
• Stripe: if you upgrade to a Pro or Max plan, to process the subscription payment. Stripe receives your email and payment details directly (they never pass through our server and we never store them).
• Brevo: to send you the app's emails (account confirmation, password recovery, content-ready alerts). It receives your email and that email's content.

Each of these services only receives what's strictly necessary to perform that function.

To suggest your country when you arrive (and pre-fill the first step's selector, always editable), and to know, in an aggregated and anonymous way, which country (and, for Spain, which autonomous community) traffic to our public pages comes from, we use an IP-based geolocation database from DB-IP.com, stored on our own server: your IP isn't sent to any external service for this, nor is it stored linked to your account.

Where it's stored

On a private server for this installation. Nothing you upload is made public, except the content you actively decide to publish with the "Publish" buttons.

Your rights

You can request at any time that your account and all your data be deleted, or disconnect Instagram/Pinterest from My Account. For any questions, write to contacto@publicasmart.com.
